The days of strictly pink for girls and blue for boys are over. When decorating and selecting furniture for your children's bedrooms, try to involve them as much as possible. Most children love theme bedrooms- winter wonderlands, summery beaches, etc.- but take care not to overdo. Select classic pieces that can grow with them.

GUEST BEDROOMS
One of the best things to do when decorating a guest bedroom is to spend a few nights in there yourself. Pretend that you are the guest, and take note of what your needs are for comfort and enjoyment. Make sure there is enough space for clothes and personal items- if you're using the room's closets for storage, consider adding a separate chest of drawers or beautiful armoire.
